The world breathes through the people in it—traders, rivals, rulers, and wild-eyed wanderers. This page tracks major NPCs and the factions that shape the Westmarches.
Westmarch Pages
Factions
The Argent Hand
A mercenary company turned political force. Known for harsh discipline and shining silver gauntlets. Currently holds a fort southeast of the Black Pines.
Verdant Pact
Wilderness sages, herbalists, and druids sworn to preserve the balance of the old woods. Mistrustful of civilization.
The Brinewatch
A ragtag group of coastal traders and smugglers. Their loyalty is to coin first, kin second. Flags are optional.
Ironbarrow Miners' Guild
Recently reformed after dwarven ruins were unearthed. Equal parts union and rumor mill.
Notable NPCs
Mayor Elra Vael
Mayor of Westmarch proper. Efficient, stern, and perpetually one sleepless night from quitting. Secretly funds exploration efforts.
Brother Korrin
Priest of the Quiet Path. Offers guidance, healing, and cryptic parables. Might be older than he looks—or never sleep.
Flint "Two-Legs"
Local guide and trapper. Lost a leg to a mimic disguised as a chair. Has a wooden pegleg and a deep hatred for furniture.
Lady Brielle of House Arn
Noble envoy from the eastern borderlands. Appears to be scouting for political alliances—or weaknesses.
The players shape the world, but its people give it depth. Every glance, deal, betrayal, or blessing starts here.
